Main hotel: City Express by Marriott, https://www.marriott.com/es/hotels/mexpu-city-express-plus-ciudad-de-mexico-patio-universidad/overview/ (take metro from Zapata to Copilco, walk to campus 10 minutes or 20-minute taxi ride to campus).

Small B&B’s in Coyoacán:

NOTE: Although there are lovely hotels for all budgets around the city, traffic is nightmarish at rush hour and public transport good but unpredictable, so I suggest you stay close to the UNAM campus during the conference and move if you are staying on, to colonia Roma, Condesa, Polanco or, if you enjoy a fair bit of exciting mayhem, Centro (downtown area).
